On April 25, Bangde hired Professor Zhao Hongyun from Harbin Institute of Technology as senior technical advisor of the company. The ceremony was held in the conference room, and Wu Guoliang, the chairman of Bangde, along with technical people presented.
Profile of Prof. Hongyun Zhao:
Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Materials Processing Engineering.
His main research interests lie in surface modification, repairing and remanufacturing, advanced welding and automation, and ultra-high strength metal forming technology and equipment.
Professor Zhao has presided over and participated in more than 50 national 863 projects, international cooperation projects, National Natural Fund projects and various provincial and ministerial researching projects and cooperative projects, 16 authorized invention patents, 20 authorized utility model patents. He published more than 100 SCI and EI scientific research papers; won 2 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological second-class awards, 3 third-class awards, 3 municipal scientific and technological progress awards. He was awarded the first prize of Shandong Province (2015) Technology Market Golden Bridge Award, top ten individuals of Shandong Province Technology Market Golden Bridge Award (2016); the eighth China Technology Market Golden Bridge Award for Outstanding Contribution; the honorary title of "Le'an Scholar" of Guangrao County. He is an honored member of the Teaching Committee of Mechanical and Electrical Subjects in Higher Education Institutions, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Aided Welding Engineering Professional Committee, and International Welding Engineering Examination Committee.
